Hello all! My name is Niki Tantillo and I am an artist with 3 years of publication production experience that focuses on illustration and layout.
I graduated from the University of Central Florida in 2018 with a degree in Visual Arts and Emerging Media Management. I spent some time from there working on illustration and concept designs for both myself and clients before finding a place in the publishing industry as a typesetter. Once I became more familiar with layout production, I began experimenting with and incorporating drawings into my layout design process with the first book to see this process being Paige Lavoie's "I'm in Love with Mothman" followed by her second book "I'm Engaged to Mothman".
Since then, I have focused more on 2D design, illustration, and large-scale layouts. I expanded to cover design working on Chip Hayne's "The Bicycle Life of Oliver Possum" series, Crystal Wood's "Dusk Walker", Honey Cummings' Yonder title "Queen's Incubus", among other titles. I most recently worked with Storytellers Forge on the TTRPG Campaign The Black Ballad where I created the assets and interior layout for the campaign book as well as other content such as "The Black Ballad: Pathfinder Conversion", "The Black Ballad: Gamble of Fates", and "The Black Ballad: The Scarlet Pigeon Incident".
